AN ACT FOR THE BETTER PREVENTION OF OFFENCES,

[3d July 1851.]

WHEREAS it is expedient to make further Provision for the Prevention of Bur- glary and other Offences in the Night: Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excel- lent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Tem- poral, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, as follows: That-

I.
