GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
It is hereby notified, with reference to the Land Sales advertised for the 25th and 26th instant, and to all future Land Sales held by 'authority of this Government, that any person or persons causing interruption to, or interfer- ing with, any such Sale, to the injury of Crown Rights, or the detriment of the Public Revenue, shall be proceeded against according to Law.

The following Abstracts of the Estimated Revenue and Expenditure of the Colony of Hongkong for the year 1856, are published for general information :- ABSTRACT of the probable REVENUE of the COLONIAL Government of Hong- KONG for the Year 1856, shewing also the Revenus received under the similar heads in the Year 1854, being the Year previous to that in which the Estimates are prepared.

KERTOOM GALOOST MACKERтOOM and Carr LUCAS, heretofore carrying on business under the firm of MACKERTOOM & Co., at Canton, was, on the 20th day March, 1855, dissolved by mutual con- sent. All Debts due to the said late Copartnership Firm are to be received by the said CARR LUCAS; and all persons to whom the said Partnership stands indebted, are requested to send their respective Ac- counts for liquidation to the said CARI LUCAS, who bas assumed the Responsibilities of the said late Firm, and fully discharged the said MACKERTOOM Galoost MACKERTOOM from all Liabilities in respect thereto.
