No. 792.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Tai Po, at 2 p.m., on Monday, the 2nd day of December, 1907.

The Lot is sold for the term of Eighteen years from the date of sale as a Salt-pan Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 and to the special conditions hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

1. Crown Rent shall be at the rate of $1 per acre for the first three years and during the remaining 15 years at such rate per acre per annum as the Lot shall be sold for by Public Auction not being less than the upset Annual Rental of $15 per acre.

2. The land shall be used solely for the purpose of salt-pans and the Crown Lease to be granted to the Purchaser shall contain a covenant by the Lessee to that effect and a proviso that in the event of the Lessee, his executors, administrators or assigns failing at any time during the continuance of the Lease to use the land for the purpose of salt-pans, the land may be re-entered on and thereupon the same shall be forfeited to and vest in the Crown.

3. The Purchaser shall lay out and construct salt-pans on the said Lot with proper sea embankments within 3 years of the date of sale to the satisfaction in all respects of the Assistant Land Officer.

4. No building of any description to be erected on the Lot.
