GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
It is hereby notified by His Excelleney The Governor in Council, that, from the 1st Day of April, 1858, and until further Notice, the Hour in the Evening after which Passes are required by Chinamen found at large, is extended from 8 to 9 P.M.

·GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
WILLIAM HEPBURN RENNIE, Esquire, having reported his arrival in the Colony, is, by virtue of a Warrant
under Her Majesty's Signet and Sign Manual, appointed Auditor General of Hongkong.
Mr RENNIE has been sworn in as Auditor General, and will assume charge of his Department from this date.
