The IIonourable JouN WALTER HULME, Esquire, having obtained leave of absence for Eighteen Months from this date on Medical Certificate, His Excellency The Governor and Commander-in-Chief is pleased to notify the ap- pointment of The Honourable FREDERICK WILLIAM GREEN, Esquire, at present Acting Attorney General, to tho office of Acting Chief Justice of Hongkong; and of HENRY KINGSMILL, Esquire, Barrister-at-Law, to the office of Acting Attorney General.
These Appointments are made subject to Her Majesty's approval, and until other arrangements shall be pub- lished.
