Preamble
Be it enacted and ordained by t Whereas it is desirable to amend Ordinance No. 10 of 1858: Honourable the Acting Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council there Section IV of Ordi- as follows:- zance No. 10 of 1838
repealed.
I. That the Fourth Section of Ordinance No. 10 of 1858 be, and the same is hereby, repealed.

ALSO,
BOMBAY, MADRAS, & CA LCUTTA, THE PENISSULAR & ORIENTAL STEAM NAVIGA- TION COMPANY's Steam-ship "SINGAPORE,” Captam GRAINGER, with Her Majesty's Mails, Pus- seniors, Spicie, and Curyo, will leave this for the alve Places, on SATURDAY, the 15th January,

CARGO will be received on board until 5 P.M. on the lith; SPECIE until Noon on the 14th, and PARCELS until 2 P.M. on the 14th.
For Particulars regarding FREIGHT and PASSAGE, cyply at the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company's Office, Hongkong.
CONTENTS AND VALUE OF PACKAGES ARE REQUIRED.
A Written Declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Shipper to the Company's Agents with the Bills of Lading or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold themselves responsible for any Detention or Prejudice which may happen from incorrectness on such declaration.
