An Ordinance to amend the Law relating to Cheques or Drafts on Bankers, and to amend the Law of False Pretences.

Be it enacted and ordained by His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong, with
the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

I. That so much of Ordinance No. 3 of 1857 as extends to this Colony the Act 19th Repeal of portion and 20th Victoria, Cap. 25, entitled "An Act to amend the Law relating to Drafts on Bankers," is hereby repealed.

II. If any Person shall obliterate, add to, or alter any Crossing upon any Banker's Cheque or Draft with Intent to defraud, or offer, utter, dispose of, or put off with ing, &c.
