CARGO will be received on board until 5 P.M. on the 13th; SPECIE until Noon on the 14th, and PARCELS until 2 P.M. on the 14th.
For particulars regarding FREIGHT and PAS- SAGE, apply at the PENINSULAR & ORIENTAL STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY's Office, Hong- kong.
Contents and Value of Packages are required.
** A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Shippers to the Com- pany's Agents with the Bill of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold them- selves responsible for any Detention or Preju- dice which may happen from incorrectness on such declaration.

THEREAS an Action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above named WILLIAM GASKELL against the above named WILLIAM WALLS to recover the sum of Seventy three Dollars fifty cents for work done for the said WILLIAM WALLS by the said WILLIAM GASKELL at his request and for money paid by the said WILLIAM GASKELL for the use of the said WILLIAM WALLS and it being alleged that the said WILLIAM WALLS does not reside within this Island or its dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued return- able on the Twelfth day of March next wherein WILLIAM HASTINGS ALEXANDER Registrar of the Supreme Court of Hongkong is garnishee. Notice is hereby given thereof, and that, if at any time before final judgment in this action, the said WILLIAM WALLS or any person on his behalf will give the Security and Notice, and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island No. 2 of 1855 entituled "An Ordinance to provide for, and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony" the said Attachment may be dissolved.
