A Premium of One Thousand Dollars will be given by the Government for the best and most practicable Scheme for providing the City of Victoria with a constant and sufficient supply of Pure Water. The Report must be accompanied with Specifications, Plans, and Working Drawings, and a detailed Estimate of the whole service. It is not contemplated to expend a larger sum than £25,000, and it is hoped that the work may be efficiently executed for a much smaller outlay.
