GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

VOL. VII.

Under the provisions of the Ordinances for raising an assessed Rate on Lands, Houses, and Pre- mises within the Colony, it is hereby notified that His Excellency The Governor, with the Advice of the Executive Council, is pleased to direct that the Valuation made by the Public Assessors of such Property for the Year 1861, shall stand as and for a new Valuation for the Year now next ensuing. For any augmentation to the said Valuation of 1861, arising from the improvement of Property or the erection of new Tenements s

since the said Valuation was made, the Assessors will furnish Occu- pants or Proprietors of Tenements with the prescribed written Valuation-notice.
