On 28th January for making certain alterations to the fittings of the said Cargo Boat, for the fraudulent concealment of goods.

On 26th February, the 1st to 7th Defendants for unlawful possession of 3 of a Ton of Coals on board Cargo Boat No. 68, and 8th Defendant for employing 3 unregistered persons to work on board the said boat.

On 17th April for employing unregistered boatmen on board their Cargo Boats.

On 19th April for having in the cabin of his boat a secret communication with the bold by means of a trap in the bulkhead for the purpose of fraudulently concealing goods therein.

On 22nd April for employing certain unregistered persons on board his Cargo Boat as boatmen.

On 26th April for employing unregistered boatmen on board his boat.

On 27th May: 1st for unlaw- fully having possession of 5 Tons of coals on board his Cargo Boat, and not satisfactorily accounting for the possession of the same; 2rd for making certain alterations to the deck over the hold of the said Cargo Boat for the purpose of fraudulently concealing goods.

On 6th June for stealing 15 cwts. of Coals, the property of the Queen in the Navy Depôt.

Fined $20, in default 1 month imprisonment.

Fine paid after enter- ing Jail.

Defendant's Boat forfeited to be sold and the proceeds paid to the Colonial Treasury, also fined $20.
