It is hereby notified that a Cominunication has been received from the Manager of the Oriental Bank Corporation in accordance with the terms of the Royal Charter announcing that, on the depar- ture of Mr. P. CAMPBELL from Chilia, the Directors of the Corporation have appointed Mr. WILLIAM LAMOND from this date, and until further notice, to be Acting Manager and Principal Officer of the Oriental Bank Corporation in China, and Mr. Joux MCDOUALL to represent the Bank at Shanghae as Acting Agent there.
