this Court, hearing date the Fourth day of Mey instant, the Simrcholders of the said ASTATIC MARINE INSURANCE OFFICE are required to pay the further sum of Company's Ropes ONE THOU= SAND, assessed in respect of each share held by them is to say, the Shareholders resident in Calenita or respectively, on or before the following dates, that

Upon reading a Petition of John Cochrane, Esquire, Official Assignee and Assignee of the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCE OFFICE, and his Affidavit in verification thereof filed, this day; and also upon rowding an order made in this matter on the Thirteenth day of April last, whereby it was ordered that the said Assignee should be at liberty to raise by contribution of the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCE OF- FICE for the satisfaction of the debts and other
claims against the said Company the further sunt of Company's Rupees One thousand in respect of each share held by then respestively in the said Company; and upon the application of Mr. Hạt h, Attorney; for the said A-signce :—It is ordered that such of the Shareholders of the said ASTATIC MA- RINE INSURANCE OFFICE, resident in Calcutta or the Suburbs thers of, as have neglected to pay the said sum of Company's Rupeos One thousand at which they have been respectively assessed in res- pect of each share bid by them respectively in the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCE OFFICE, do on or before the First day of August next pay to the said Official Assignee the said Sum of Company's Rupees One thousand at which they have been respectively assessed as aforesaid, and that the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MARINE ÎN- SURANCE OFFICE resident in Hongkong and in Bonbay do on or before the First day of October wxf, and that the Shareholders of the said ASIATIO MARINE INSURANCE OFFICE resident in the Mauritius and in Great Britain and all other places not herein specifically mentioned do on or before the First day of December next pay to the said Official Assignee the respective Sums at which they have been respectively assessed in respect of the shares held by them respectively in the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCEOFFICE; and that in case any of the Shareholders of the said ASTATIC MARINE INSURANCE ÖFFICE shall neglect to comply with this order within the time hereby limited, the said Official Assignee shall be at liberty to apply to this Court that such defaulting Share - holders may be adjudged to have committed an Act of Insolvency according to the Provisions of the Act No. XLIII of 1850), passed by the President of the Council of India in Council on the Twenty- seventh day of December One thousand Eight hundred and Fifty, entitled "An Act for the Re- gulation of Joint Stock Companies." And it is further ordered that Notice of this order be publish- ed in the Englishman and the Bengal Hurkare, Newspapers of Calcutta, and in the Calcutta Ex- change Gazette once every month until the first day of December next; and in the Bombay Gazette and in the London Gazette, and in the Principal Newspapers of Hongkong and the Mauritius, and that the Chief Clerk of this Court do publish the substance of this Order once every month until the month of December uext in the Calcutta Gazette.

J. HAGAN, Defendants. HEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above named Samuel Conne Fox, against the above named George William Moner and J. Han to reover the sum of Three thou-and aad zixty-woven Dollars and Nia-ty-three cents for money paid, goods sol, work performed, commission as Agent, and for fa- terest; and it being alleged that the suld George William Brenner and J. Hagaa do not reside within this island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued retumable on the Treuty-fifth day of Jane instant, wherein Thomas S. Borradale and Daniel McFarlane, res- pectively of Hongkong, are Garni-lices:--Notien is hereby given thereof and that ir'at any time be- fore Finel Judgment in this action the said George William Bremner and J. Hagan or any person on their behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled “An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in Actions at Lew against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.

Contents and Value of Packages are required. * A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Shippers to the Com- pany's Agents with the Bill of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold them- selves responsible for any Detention or Preju- dice which may happen from incorrectness on such declaration.
Shippers of Cargo on the Company's Black Bills of Lading are particu- larly requested to note the Terms and Conditions of these Bill of Lading, with reference to the Transhipcut and forwarding of Cargo, with a view to the adequat ness of their Insurance Policies in respect of the same.

CONSULAR NOTIFICATION.
Tis hereby notified for public information, that all Foreign Vessels leaving this port for Ma- nila, Sual, Yloilo, and Zambuanga, as being the only ports opened to foreign trade in the Phillipine Islands, without due documentation from the Spanish Consul at this place, such vessels will un- avoidably incur in a very heavy fine at their ar- rival at any of the above named ports besides other responsibilities to which they might be liable.
