TENDERS will he received at the Gaol Office, until Noon of the 24th of November, 1862, for PROVISIONING and CLOTHING, &c., the prisoners in H. M. Gaols of this Colony for One Year, commencing on the 26th day of November, 1862, in accordance with the following SCHE- DULES, viz:-

Gellabhoy Sewjee, Padumseg Khet- sey Sewjce, Oolveda Seujer, Luckumsay Sewjer, and Meghjer Gellabhoy trading under the Style and Firm of Gellabhoy Sewjce and Company, HEREAS an Action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the ab, named Edward Hutchinson. Pollard, against the above -named Gellabhoy Sewjee, Pudumsay Khetsey Sew- jec,Ookeeda Sewjee, Luckumsey Sewjec & Meghjer Gellabhoy, to recover the Sum of Nine Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars upon and by virtue of a promise made by Defendants it consideration of services to be rendered by the Plaintiff and which were afterwards rendered and upon and by virtue of a subsequent promise to pay Nine Hundred and Twenty Fire Dollars for services rendered, and it being alleged that the said Gellabboy Sew- jee, Pudumisey Khetsey Sewjez, Ookeeda Sowjce, Luckumsey Sewjce and Meghjee Gellabhoy, do not nor does any of them reside within the Island or its Dependencies a writ of foreign attach- meut has been issued returnable ou the twenty eigth day of November iustant, wherein Cassim Khetsey is garnishee.
Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this Action, the said give the security and notieg, and file the appear- Cassim Khetsey or any person on his behalf, wi!! ance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled “ An Ordinance to provide for and regulate Process, in Actions at Law, against per- sons absent from this Colony,” the said attachnfent may be dissolved.
