CARGO will be received on board until 5 P.M. on the 9th, SPECIE until Noon on the 10th, and PARCELS until 5 P.M. on the 9th.

Contents and Value of Packages are required.

**A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and inust be delivered by the Shippers to the Com- pany's Agents with the Bill of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold them- selves responsible for any Detention or Prejn- dice which may happen from incorrectness on such declaration. Shippers of Cargo on the Company's Black Bills of Lading are particu- larly requested to note the Terms and Conditions of these Bills of Lading, with reference to the Transshipment and forwarding of Cargo, with a view to the adequateness of their Insurance Policies in respect of the same.

Kirong Sing, Defendant. HEREAS an Action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above-nam- aforesaid, to recover the sum of Two hundred and ed Joseph Blum and Gobert Blum, trading as

this Court at the suit of the above named Chun-suy-shan to recover the sum of One hun- dred and Twenty-five dollars, for balance of an account for goods sold and delivered by the Plaintiff to the Defendant, and for money found to be due from the Defendant to the Plaintiff on account stated between them; and it being alleged that the said Wong-yit-chow does not reside within this Island or its dependencies, a writ of foreign attachment has been issued returnable on the Fij- trenth day of September next, wherein Wong Ahum of Hongkong aforesaid, accountant, is Gar- nishee. Notice is hereby given thereof, and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Wong-yüt-chow or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appear- ance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, No. 2 of 1855, intituled "An Ordinance "to provide for and regulate process in actions "at Law against persons absent from the Colony,” the said attachment may be dissolved.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Kwong Sing or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the ap- pearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, No. 2 of 1855, intituled “An Ordinance "to provide for and regulate process in actions at "Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.
