THE THEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above named Nursey Kessowjee and Peerbloy Khallakdinn trading as aforesaid against the above named Hormusjee and Rustomjee to recover the Sum of Seventy-four thousand seven hundred and forty- six dollars and seven cents for Goods sold and de- livered, money lent, money paid, money had and received on accounts stated, and for interest and it being alleged that the said Hormusjee and Rustomjee do not reside within this Island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Thirtieth day of June instant, wherein Messrs. Jardine, Matheson and Company, Messrs. David Sassoon Sons and Company, William A. Cressy, Messrs. Lindsay and Company, Messrs. Rusell and Company, the Oriental Bank Corporation, and V. C. da Rocha, respectively of Hongkong, are Garnishees. Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final Judgment in this action the said Hor- musjee and Rustomjee or any person on their be- half will give the security or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled "An Ordinance "to provide for and regulate process in actions at "Law against persons absent from the Colony the said attachment may be dissolved.

Ruttonjee Framjee Vacha and Vriez Wooderkun- drass Hurrybloy, against the above named Hor- ausjee Dewmječ and Rustomjee Burjorjee trading under the firm of Hormusjec and Rustomjee of Hongkong, Merchants, to recover the Sum of Thirty thousand dollars for Goods sold and delivered by the Plaintiffs to the Defendants, and for money found to be due from the Defendants to the Plaintiffs on accounts stated between them, and it being alleged that the said Hormusjee and Rustomjee do not reside within this Island or its dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Sercnth day of July next, wherein Messrs, Jartline, Matheson and Com- pany and Julian Pauncefote are Garnishees, No- tice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final Judgment in this action the said Hormusjee Dewinjee and Rustomjee Burjorjee trading under the firm of Hormusjee and Kus- tomjee or any person on their behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or Plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, No. 2 of 1855, intituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in action at Law against persons absent from the Colony" the said attachment may be dissolved.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Hor- musjee Jevanjee Mehta and Rustomjee Burjorjee or any person on their behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled "An "Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the "Colony" the said attachment may be dissolved.
