That your

Petitioner believes that the said Invention is not now and has not hitherto been publicly used in this Colony.

That the following is the description of the said Invention (here state the particulars shortly in accord- ance with the specification on which the Letters Patent in England were granted.)

Your Petitioner therefore prays for leave to file a Specification of the said Invention pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. of 1862.

And your Petitioner will ever pray, &c.
