By His Excellency Sir HERCULES GEORGE ROBERT ROBINSOx, Knight, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice- Admiral of the same, with the Advice of the Legislative Council of Hongkong.

An Ordinance to apply a Sum not exceeding Four hundred and Fifty-five thousand Four hundred Dollars to the Public Service of the Year 1863.

Title.

Whereas the Expenditure required for the Service of this Colony for the year 1863 Preamble. has been estimated at the Sun of Four hundred and Fifty-five thousand Three hundred and Seventy-six Dollars: Be it enacted and ordained by Ilis Excellency The Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :---

I. A Sum not exceeding Four hundred and Fifty-five thousand Four hundred Estimates, 1813. Dollars shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the Revenue of this Colony for the Service of the year 1863, and the said Sum so charged shall be expended as here- inafter specified; that is to say:
