THE Supreme Court, will hold a NIST PRIUS Sitting on Friday the Twenty-eighth day of March, A.D. 1862, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon, for the trial of VAUCHER and others' rz. SASSOON and others.

THE
PENINSULAR AND ORIENTAL STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY'S Steam-ship Behar, Captain BROOKS, with Her Majesty's Mails, Passengers, Specie, and Cargo, will leave this for the above places on Tuesday, the 1st April, at 2 r.M.
CARGO will be received on board until 5 P.M. on the 30th March, SPECIE until Noon on the 31st, and PARCELS until 5 P.M. on the 30th.

Contents and Value of Packages are required.
* A written declaration of the Contents and - Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, aud must be delivered by the Shippers to the Com- pany's Agents with the Bill of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold them- selves responsible for any Detention or Preja- dice which may happen from incorrectness ou such declaration. Shippers of Cargo on the
Company's Black Bills of Lading are particu- larly requested to note the Terms and Conditions of these Bills of Lading, with reference to the Transhipment and forwarding of Cargo, with a view to the adequateness of their Insurance Policies in respect of the same.

OTICE is hereby given, that the Estate and Effects of the above named Insolvent have been vested in the Provisional Assignee by order of this Court, and that it is ordered that the said Insolvent be brought up for examination at the Supreme Court House, Victoria, on Thursday, the Third day of April, 1862, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and in case any Creditor intends to oppose the discharge of the said Insolvent he must give notice in writing of such his intention to the Court, and the said Insolvent, two clear days prior to the day of hearing.
