His Excellency the ACTING GOVERNOR is pleased to direct that Christmas Day, the 26th Instant, New Year's Day, and the 2nd Proximo, be observed as Holidays by the various Departments of Government.

A new upper line of Road Eastward from the Government Offices to the Gap. The construction of Bridges and Nullah in Belcher's Bay.

The construction of a Pier to Praya at Western Street, West Point. Landing steps to Praya, Syingpoon.
The erection of School Houses at Syingpoon and Sookunpoo.
Plans and Specifications may be seen upon application at the Surveyor General's Office between the hours of 11 ̊A.M. and 3 P.M.
