ace, and no application will, after that period, be received for submission to the Sessions.

Printed Forms of applications may be obtained by intending applicants at the Police Magistrates' Othce between the hours of 10 A.M. and 4 P.M.

It is hereby notified that, at a meeting of the Executive Council held this day, His Excellency the Acting Governor with the advice of the Council determined, that the Police and Lighting Rates due for the Quarter ending 31st December, 1863, shall be payable at the Colonial Treasury, between the hours of 11 A.M. and 3 P.M., from the 1st to the 31st October next.

Tenders will be received at the Surveyor General's Office on or before Wednesday the 30th Instant for the construction of a Guard House and Warden's and other Quarters, &c., at the Victoria Gaol.
