GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby notified that, at a meeting of the Executive Council held this day, His Excellency the Acting Governor with the advice of the Council determined, that the Police and Lighting Rates e for the Quarter ending 31st December, 1863, shall be payable at the Colonial Treasury, between the hours of 11 A.M. and 3 P.M., from the 1st to the 31st October next.

The following proposed List of Stands and Schedule of Fares drawn up by the Registrar General under the provisions of Sections 8 and 9 of Ordinance 6 of 1863, and submitted to His Excellency the Acting Governor, are published for general information previous to a final consideration of them in Executive Council.
