The subjoined Additional Articles to regulate the exchange and carriage of Mails by the newly established line of French Steamers running between France, India and China, are published for general information; and attention is particularly called to the Post Office Notification next following, and the Table of Rates annexed thereto.

ADDITIONAL ARTICLES
To the detailed Regulations arranged be- tween the Post Office of Great Britain and the Post Office of France for the execution of the Postal Convention of the 24th Sep- tember 1856.
The Postmaster-General of the United King- dom of Great Britain and Ireland, on the one part, and the Counsellor of State, Director General of the French Post Office, on the other part:
With reference to Articles 31, 32, and 36 of the Postal Convention concluded between Great Britain and France the 24th September 1856:
With reference also to the Detailed Regulations arranged between the Post Office of Great Britain and the Post Office of France for the execution of the said Convention, signed at Paris the 27th October 1856, and at London the 12th November
1856:
And with reference to the additional Articles to the Detailed Regulations above nientioned signed at London the 16th May 1860, and at Paris the 19th of the saine month:
Have agreed as follows:-
ARTICLE 1.
There shall be an exchange of letters and printed pers in closed Mails by means of French mail jrkets, and by way of the Isthmus of Suez, be- tween the Office of Marseilles and the Travelling Office from Lyons to Marseilles, on the one part, And the Offices of Aden, Madras, Calcutta, Point de Galle, Singapore, and Hong Kong, on the other

Au Réglement de détail et d'ordre arrêté entre l'administration des Postes de la Grande Bretagne et l'administration des Postes de France pour l'exécution de la Convention de Posté du 24 Septembre 1856.
Le Maître Général des Postes du Royaume Uni de la Grande Bretagne et d'Irlande, d'une part, et le Conseiller d'Etat Directeur Général des Postes de France, d'autre part:
Vu les Articles 31, 32, et 36 de la Convention de Poste conclue entre la Grande Bretagne et la France le 24 Septembre 1856:
Vu le Réglement de détail et d'ordre arrêté entre l'Administration des Postes de la Grande Bretagne et l'Administration des l'ostes de France pour l'exécution de la dite Convention, signé à Paris le 27 Octobre 1856 et à Londres le 12 Novembre 1856:
Vu les Articles additionnels au Réglement pré- cité signés à Londres le 16 Mai 1860 et à Paris le 19 du même mois:
Sont convenus de ce qui suit:-
ARTICLE 1.
Il y aura un échange de lettres et d'imprimés en dépêches closes par la voie des paquebots-poste Français, et de l'Isthme de Suez, entre le Bureau de Marseille et le Bureau ambulant de Lyon à Marseille, d'une part, et les Bureaux d'Aden, Madras, Calcutta, Point de Galle, Singapore, et Hong Kong, d'autre part.
