GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

VOL. X.

It is hereby notified that, at a Meeting of the Executive Council held this day, His Excellency the Acting Governor with the advice of the Council determined that the Rate imposed by Government Notification No. 23 of 21st February last shall be levied Quarterly, and that the amounts due for the Quarter ending 30th September next shall be payable at the Colonial Treasury, between the hours of 11 A.M. and 3 P.M., from the 1st to the 31st August next.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

With reference to the foregoing Notification, Notice is hereby given that all Rates and Arrears of Rates due up to the 30th June, 1863, will be collected as heretofore; and Occupiers of Tenements are requested to be prepared to pay, when called on, the amounts respectively due by them.

With reference to Government Notification No. 63 of this year, it is hereby notified that the Eastern and Western Slaughter Houses are held, for the ensuing Twelve Months from 1st July next, by LEYONG YOW SIU of the WING LOONG Shop, Victoria, at a Monthly rental of $330 and $670 respectively.

o'clock P.M.

The accompanying Schedule of Lots for Sale is published for general information, the Plans of which, together with the conditions of Sale, may be seen at the Surveyor General's Office.
