N.B.-The Commission paid to Mr. Cleverly was 5 per cent on £3,272 contributed by private subscription for the erection of the Cathedral and sanctioned by the Trustees at their Meeting of August 6th, 1860.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

His Excellency the Acting Governor has been pleased to recognize GEORGE J. HELLAND, Esquire, as Acting Consul for Denmark at this Port, during the absence of FREDERICK H. BLOCK, Esquire, in Europe, and subject to the pleasure of Her Majesty's Government.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

W. H. ALEXANDER, Acting Colonial Secretary.

It is hereby notified that the services of a Clerk, and an Interpreter, are required by this Govern- ment for the Establishment of the Convict Hulk Royal Saxon.

The Salary of the Clerk is $576 and that of the Interpreter $384 per annum.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

Notice is hereby given that Tenders will be received at the Surveyor General's Office, on or before the 15th Proximo, for the erection of the Central Police Barracks on the site of the old Gaol.

Plans and Specification may be seen on application at the Surveyor General's Office, between the hours of 11 A.M. and 3 P.M.
