THE HONGKONG GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 31ST JANUARY, 1863.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby notified that the services of eight Europeans are required by this Covernment to form the Staff of the Convict Hulk intended to be anchored off Stone Cutters' Island.

The Staff will consist of-

1 Warden,

1 Superintendent,

1 Head Turnkey,

1 Turnkey,

2 Do.

2 Do.

..Salary $1,920 per annum.

The services of a Chinese, as Interpreter, will also be required. Salary $284 per annum. Applications accompanied by Testimonials or Certificates to be sent in to this Office on or before the 21st Proximo.
