ORIENTAL BANK CORPORATION.
"T having come to the knowledge of the Officers of the Corporation in China that the $25 notes of the Bank have been imitated, and that several of these forged notes have got into circu- lation: It has been resolved to cancel the present issue of $25 notes and issue new ones of a different design. In accordance with this resolution all persons are cautioned against taking any of the $25 notes of the Bank, and all holders of such notes are requested to present them at the Bank's Office in Hongkong where they will receive dol- lars for them.

Contents and Value of Packages are required.
A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Shippers to the Com- pany's Agents with the Bills of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold them- selves responsible for any Detention or Preju- dice which may happen from incorrectness on such declaration. Shippers of Cargo on the Company's Black Bills of Lading are particu- larly requested to note the Terms and Condition of these Bills of Lading, with reference to the Transhipment and forwarding of Cargo, with a view to the adequateness of their Insurance Policies in respect of the same.
