NOTICE.
OUIS PROMOLI of Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong formerly carrying on business & Merchant and Commission Agent in copari- nership with Peter Schoedtl, since deceased, and lately carrying on the same business by him- self under the name style or firm of Schoolth and Promoli having been adjudged Bankrupt under a petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong in Bankruptcy on the 16th day of September, 1865, is hereby required to surrender himself to the Acting Re-
istrar of the said Court at the first meeting of his creditors to be held before the said Acting Registrar on the Thirteenth day of November next at eleven o'clock in the forenoon precisely at the said Court.-Mr. Norman Ramsay Masson is the official assignee and Mr. Roger Carmichael Robert Owen is the solicitor acting in the Bank- ruptcy.
A public sitting will be appointed by the Court for the said Bagkrupt to pass his last examination of which sitting due notice will be given in the Hongkong Government Gazette. At the first meeting of creditors the Acting Registrar will receive the proof of the debts of the creditors and the creditors may choose an assignee or assignees of the Bankrupt's estate and effects.
At the public sitting proof of debts of creditors will also be received and the said Bankrupt will be required to submit himself to be examined and to make a full disclosure and discovery of all his estate and effects and to finish his examination.
Notice is also hereby given to all persons in- debted to the said Bankrupt or that have any of his effects not to deliver the same but to the official assignee whom the Court has appointed in that behalf and give notice to the solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.
