this Court at the suit of the above named Joseph Oxford, Henry Danziger, Jacob Arnhold and Alexander Cosman Levysohu trading as aforesaid against the above named Byramjee Hormusjee Cama trading as aforesaid to recover Fourteen thousand Two hundred and Ninety jour Dollars and Twenty one Cents for damages for the non acceptance by the Defeudaut of a cargo of Rice by a vessel called the "Manfred " and of a cargo of Rice by a vessel called the "Albratross" which said cargoes of Rice the Plaintiffs bargained and sold to the Defendant and the Defendant bought from the Plaintiffs at the price of Three Dollars per perul gross weight upon the terms stated in the contract of sale contained in two letters of the Plaintiffs dated the Eleventh and Fifteenth days of May last respectively and one letter of the Defendant in his said firm style or name dated the Fifteenth day of May last which said cargoes of Rice the Defendant has not accepted from the Plaintiff's nor has he paid the Plaintiffs the price thereof in accordance with the terms of the said contract of sale thereof, and in the further sum of Twelve thousand Eight hundred and Twenty tico Dollars and Fifty one Cents for goods sold and delivered by the Plaintiffs to the Defendant, and for money paid by the Plaintiffs for the use of the Defendant at his request, and in the total sum of Twenty seren thou and One hundred and sixteen Dollars and Seventy two Cinta for money found to be due from the Defendant to the Plaintiffs on an account stated by the said Defendant, and in the further
of One thousand Dollars for interest due by the sairi Defendant to the Plaintiffs for forbearance at interest to the Defendant of money due from the Defendant to the Plaintiffs. And it being alleged that the said Byramjee Hormusjee Cama trading as aforesaid does not reside within this Island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attach- ment has been issued returnable on the Twenty- sixth day of June, One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-five, wherein Pestonjee Aspundiarjee Metta of Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong, Merchant is Garnishec.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Byramjee Hormusjec Cama trading as afore- said or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled **An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony" the said Attachment may be dissolved.

HEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the snit of the above named Heinrich Constantine Eduard Meyer and- Wilhelm Daniel Johannes Meyer, trading as aforesaid, against the above named Thomas Soler, to recover Ten thousand Dollars, for money payable by the Defendant to the Plaintiffs, for money paid by the said Plaintiffs for the De- fendant at his request, and for Freight for the carriage of Goods by the ship Derfuchs, under a Charter Party of Affreightment dated the 13th day of June, A.D. 1864, and made between the said Plaintiff's and the said Defendant, and for demurrage of the said vessel of the Plaintiff's kept on demurrage by the said Defendant, and for interest due by the Defendant to the Plaintiffs and for money found to be due from the De- fendant to the Plaintiffs on an account stated; and it being alleged that the said Thomas Soler does not reside within the Island of Hongkong or its Dependencies, a Writ of Foreign Attach- ment has been issued returnable on the 19th day of June next, wherein A. Ross and J. Thompson trading as Shipwrights under the firm of Ross and Thompson, and J. A. dos Remedios manager of the firm of Messieurs Reynolds and Company, are Garnishees,

N Friday, the 23rd June, at Noon, the Com- pany & Steam-ship “IMPERATRICE,” Commandant MASSENET, H. I. M. N., with Her Britannic Majesty's Mails, Passengers, Specie and Cargo, will leave this Port for the above places corresponding :-
At Galle, with one of the British India Steam Navigation Company's Steamers for Bombay;
At Messina, with the Company's Semi-weekly Mail Steamers for Malta and all the Italian Ports; At Marseilles, with the Weekly Company's Mail Steamer for Valencia and by Kailroad to Madrid.
Cargo and Specie will be registered for Lon- don as well as for Marseilles, and accepted in transit through Marseilles for the principal places of Europe.
The Company has authority to grant Insur- ance on all Cargo conveyed by its Vessels, at a premium of 14 per cent upon Merchandize, and 1 per cent on Treasure, from Hongkong to Lyons, Paris, London, and Holland, and pro- portionally for places this side of Suez.

Cargo will be received on board until 4 o'clock of the 21st June, Specie and Parcels until 5 o'dok of the 22nd.
A Written Declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages destined beyond Suez is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be furnished by the Shippers to the Agent with the Bills of Lading; and the Company will not be responsible for any consequence or prejudice which may ensue from an incorrect declaration. For particulars respecting Freight and Pas- sage, apply at the Company's Office, Queen's Road.
