CHUN ASEE Plaintiff,

FOONG MENG HENG, Defendant. HEREAS an action has been commenced in tuis Court at the suit of the above named Chun Asec against the above named Foong Meng Heng to recover the sum of One thousand Three hundred and Seventy tico Dollars and Ninety eight Cents for money alleged to be due by the Defendant to the Plaintiff for goods sold and delivered by the Plaintiff to the Defendant, and for raoney lent by the Plaintiff to the Defendant at his request and for interest on money forborne at interest by the Plaintiff to the Defendant at the Defendant's request and for money found to be due from the Defendant to the Plaintiff on accounts stated between them. And
it being alleged that the said Foong Meng Heng, does not reside within this Island or its Depen- dencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has becu issued returnable on the Fifteenth day of May One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-five, wherein 'Ng Ah 'Ng and Foong-wha Po are Garnishees.
Notice is hereby given thereof and if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Foong Meng Heng or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the ap- pearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from this Colony" the said At- tachment may be dissolved.
