Foreign Attachment. JOHN FRANCIS FAWCETT, Plaintiff

EDWARD HERCULES DUÜS, De-
fendant.
WHEREAS action has been commenced
in this Court at the suit of the above named John Francis Fawcett against the above named Edward Hercules Duis to recover the Sum of Fine Hundred and Seventy Dollars for money payable by the Defendant to the Plaintiff for money had and received by the Defendant for the Plaintiff's use and for money payable by the Defendant to the Plaintiff for niongys found to be due fom the Defendant to the Plaintiff on accounts stated between them and a further sum for interest of moneys due from the Defendant to the Plaintiff and forborne as interest by the said Defendant at the request of the Plaintiff. And it being alleged that the said Edward Hercules Duis does not reside within this Island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Sixteenth day of January, 1865, wherein Henry Hemsley Severs and William James Bain trading as Severs & Company are Garnishees.
Notice is her by given there of and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Edward Hercules Duis or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plen required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled “An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said At- tachment may be dissolved.

the detention and conversion of a certain Junk. And it being alleged that the said Wong Atuck does not reside within this Island or its Depen- dencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Seventeenth day of January, 1865, wherein Wong Ato aud Leong Ashing are Garnishees,
Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Wong Atuck or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appear- ance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled “An Ordinance to provide for and regulate Process in actions at law against persons ab-ent from the Colony," the said Attach- inent may be dissolved.
