Such disinterestedness and humanity are unfortunately too rare in this part of the world for conduct such as that of the Miaco-Sima Islanders to pass without special approbation, and this Court would suggest that the matter be brought to the knowledge of the Chief Naval Officer of the Station in the hope that he may see fit to direct some expression of thanks to b. made to the Islanders by any of Her Majesty's Naval Officers who may visit the scene of the wreek of the Fairlight.

With reference to the Regulations for the Public Gardens, published on the 1st May last, Rule 5 is herewith amended as follows:-
