NOTICE.
LEONG KAI HODING, residing and lately
carrying on business as a dealer in Chinese Matting in copartnership with Leong Heut Tye at the Foong Shing shop, Vietoria. Hongkong. baving been adjudged Bankrupt under a petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong in Bankruptcy on the 14th day of March, 1866, is hereby required to surrender himself to the Acting Registrar of the said Court at the first Meeting of his Creditors to be held before the said Acting Re- gistrar on the 27th day of March instant at 11 o'clock in the forenoon precisely at the said Court. Mr. Norinan Ramsay Masson is the Official Assignee and Mr. Edward Sharp is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.
A Public Sitting will be appointed by the Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examination of which sitting due notice will be given in the Honghong Gücernment Guzelte. At the first Meeting of Creditors, the Acting Registrar will receive the Proofs of the Debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose au Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.
At the Publie Sitting Proofs of Debts of Cre- diters will also be reeived and the said Bank- rupt will be required to subunit bimself to be examined and to make a full disclosure and dis- covery of all his Estate and Effects, and to finish his examination.
Notice is a hereby given to all persons in- debted to the sail backrupt, or that have any of his Effects, not to deliver the same but to the Official Assignee whom the Court has appointed in that behalf, and to give notice to the Solicitor Acting in the Bankruptcy.

Cargo and Specie will be registered for London have this day established ourselves
as well ne for Marseilles and accepted in transit through Marseilles for the principal plates of Europe.
The Company has authority to grant Insurances on all Cargo conveyed by its Vessels, at a pre- erium of 14% upon Merchandize, and 1 9, on Treasure, from Hongkong to Lyons, Paris, Lon- don, and Holland, and proportionally for pinces this side of Suez.
Cargo will he received on board until 4 o'clock of the 23rd March, Specie and Parcels until 5 o'clock of the 24th.
A Written Declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages destined beyond Suez is required by the Egyptian Goverment, and must Le furnished by the Shippers to the Apent with the Bills of Lading; and the Company will not be responsible for any consequence or prejudice which may ensure from an incorrect declaration.
