IN THE SUPREME COURT OF HONGKONG IN BANKRUPTCY,

NOTICE THOMAS CUSHING LADD, of Ped-

der's Hill, Victoria, in the Colony of Hong- kong, Mercantile Assistant, and some time since earrying on business at Victoria aforesaid, as the Proprietor of certain Saw and Rice Mills, and as a General Commission Agent, having been adjudged Backrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong in Bankruptcy on the Fif- teenth day of November, A.D., 1807, is hereby required to surrender himself to William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Registrar of the said Court, at the first Meeting of his Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar on the Fifth day of December next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon précisely, at the said Court.

Mr. William Ilastings Alexander is the Official Assignce, and Mr. Edmund Sharp is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

A public sitting will be appointed by the Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examina- tion, of which sitting notice will be given in the Hongkong Government Gazette,

At the first Meeting of Creditors the Re- gistrar will receive the proofs of the debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupt's estate and effects. At the public sitting, proefs of debts of Creditors will be rercived and the Bankrupt will be required to submit himself to be examined and to make a full disclosure and discovery of all his estate and effects and to finish his examina- tion.

Notice is also hereby given to all persons indebted to the said Bankrupt or that have any of his effects not to deliver the same but to the Official Assignee and to give notice to the Soli- citor acting in the Bankruptcy.

"OTICE.—The above named Bankrupt having this Twentieth day of November, 1867, passed his last examination, the Hearing of the application by the said Bankrupt for his Dis- charge stands adjourned to Wednesday, the Fourth day of December, next.

́OTICE.-MARIA MOULD, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, Nurse, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Fefition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court, on the Twenty-ninth day of October, 1867, a Public sitting for the said Bankrupt to pass her last examination and make application for her discharge will be held before the Honorable JOHN SMALE, Esquire, Chief Justice of the said Court, at the Supreme Court House, Victoria, Hongkong, on the Twenty-seventh day of No- amber, instant, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon precisely.

At the Meeting proofs of the Debts of Creditors will be received.

The Registrar of the Court is the Official Assiguce and Mr. Francis Innes Hazeland is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

N Monday, the 25th instant, at 2 P.M., the Company's Steam-ship “IMPERA- TRICE, Commandant MACAIRE, with Mails, Passengers, Specie and Cargo, will leave this Port for the above places.

Cargo and Specie will be registered for London as well as for Marseilles, and accepted in transit through Marseilles for the principal places of Europe.

Cargo will be received on board until 4 P.M. of the 23rd lustaut, Specie and Parcels until 5 P.M. of the 24th Instant. (Parcels are not to be sent on board; they must be left at the Agency's Office.)
