PROCLAMATION.
[L.S.] RICHARD GRAVES MACDONNELL.
By His Excellency SIR RICHARD GRAVES MACDONNELL, Knight, and Companion of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same.
Whereas the Commands of Her Most Gracious Majesty The QUEEN, conveyed through His Grace The Duke of BUCKINGHAM and CHANDOs, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies, have been received, approving of and confirming the following Ordinances, namely:-

No. 1 of 1867, entitled-An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, for embodying in one Ordinance the Definition of Words and Expressions ordinarily adopted in different Ordinances, and Rules of Court;
No. 4 of 1867, entitled-An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, to regulate the Importation and Storage of Gunpowder;
No. 5 of 1867, entitled-An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, to amend Ordinance No. 9 of 1858:--
Now, therefore, it is hereby declared, that the said Ordinances have been so approved and confirmed, as aforesaid.
