With reference to Government Notification No. 40 of the 5th ultimo, it is hereby made known that His Excellency SIR RICHARD GRAVES MACDONNELL, C.B., Governor and Commander-in-Chief, has granted to 'Ng-Yü, of the Fuk-Lung Shop, No. 77 Jervois Street, and IIo-Leung, of the Chiu-Lung Shop, No. 57 Jervois Street, the Exclusive Privilege of preparing and selling prepared Opium within the Colony of Hongkong and the Waters thereof for the period of One Year from the 1st of May, 1867. The New Edition of the Ordinances of Hongkong having been received from home, and placed according to Clause 5 of No. 7 of 1864 in the Colonial Treasury, it is hereby notified that for the convenience of the Public copies of the same reserved for sale are deposited with Mr. D. NORONHA, the Government Printer, from whom they may be obtained at the cost of $5 a Copy.

A List of Errata is prepared, and will be issued gratis to the purchaser of each Copy.
