7. Should the Purchaser neglect or fail to comply with any or either of these conditions his Premium shall immediately upon such neglect or failure become forfeited to Her Majesty who shall be at full liberty either to enforce the sale or to re-sell the Property at such time and place and in such manner as to Her Majesty shall seem fit, and in case of a re-sale the increase if any of the Premium or Purchase Money shall be retained by Her Majesty and the deficiency if any and all costs and expenses shall be made good by the Defaulter and be recoverable as liquidated damages.

8. Possession of the Lot sold shall be given to the Purchaser and deemed to have been taken by him on the 24th day of June, 1867.

9. The Breach of any or either of the Special Covenants an abstract whereof is contained in Schedule B shall be attended with a like right of re-entry on the part of Her Majesty as is vested in Her in respect of the Breach of the ordinary Covenants.

SCHEDULE A.

The Printed Form of Crown Lease referred to in Section 4 of the foregoing Conditions of Sale can be inspected on appli- cation at the Surveyor General's Office previously to the Sale.

SCHEDULE B.

Abstract of Special Covenants referred to in the foregoing Conditions of Sale.

1. The Purchaser of the Lot shall permit and suffer Her Majesty's Surveyor General and all workmen employed by him at all times after the giving of a notice in that behalf to enter upon the said Lot for the performance of the works hereinafter mentioned.

2. It shall be lawful for Her Majesty's Surveyor General in such manner as he shall deem expedient and with or without the approval of the Purchaser of the Lot after notice given as aforesaid to do all such matters and things as are necessary for the construction of a Sea-wall at such distance from the Lct as may hereafter be determined upon by the Governor, and for the filling in the intermediate space between the said wall and the Lot including the future Praya as shewn on the Land Sale plan, or as such Praya may hereafter be decided on by the Governor.

3. Whenever such matters and things or any part thereof shall have been done to the satisfaction of Her Majesty's Sur- veyor General and the amount due therefor shall be certified by him the Purchaser of this Lot shall forthwith pay into the Treasury the amount so certified.

4. A rent shall be payable by the Purchaser of the Lot for the intermediate space reclaimed in the same proportion and at the same times and manner as for this Lot.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BY THE PURCHASER.

Memorandum that each of the Persons whose names and signatures are hereunder written has been declared the highest bidder for the Lot described in the foregoing Particulars of Sale and hereunder specified opposite to his said name and signature, and does hereby agree to become the Lessee thereof under and subject to the foregoing Conditions of Sale and on his part to perform and abide by the said Conditions.

The Old Western Slaughter House in Syingpoon will be sold by Public Auction on the 16th instant, immediately after the Sale of Land advertised for that day. The Materials to be removed by the Purchaser within Two Months of the day of Sale.
