House hereinafter mentioned, that is to say, 69, First Street, Saiyingpoon, was on the Ninth Day of December, 1868, pursuant to Section XXIII of the above Ordinance, declared by me under my Hand and Seal of Office to be an Unlicensed Brothel.

Colony of Hongkong, Building Contractor, hav- Ing been adjudged Bankrupt under à Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Su- preme Court on the Second day of December, One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-eight, is hereby required to sarrender himself to Wil- liam Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Registrar of the said Supreme Court, at the first Meeting of Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar, on the Fifteenth day of December, One thou- sand Eight hundred and Sixty-eight, at Three of the clock in the afternoon precisely, at the said Court.

Frederick Sowley Huffam, Esquire, Deputy Registrar of the Court is the Official Assignee, and Mr. Edmund Sharp is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

At this Meeting the Registrar will receive proofs of the Debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.

All persons having in their possession any of the Effects of the said Bankrupt must deliver them to the said Official Assignee, and all Debts due to the Bankrupt must be paid to the said Official Assignee.--

provisious of Article 9 of the Articles or Association of the HONGKONG FIRE INSUR- ANCE COMPANY, an Extraordinary Mecting of Shareholders will be held at the Offices of the Company, situate at No. 39, Queen's Rod, Vic- toria, on Tuesday, the First day of December next, at the hour of Three o'clock in the after- noon, for the purpose of declaring a dividend, and passing certain Special Resolutions providing for the dissolution and winding up of the Com- pany; copies of which can be obtained by any Shareholder, on application at the said Offices of the Company.
