NOTICE
Merchant, having been adjudged Bankrupt un- der a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in this Court on the Twenty-fourth day of April, One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty- right, is hereby required to surrender himself to the Honorable William Jtings Alexander, Esquire, the Registrar of the said Court, at the first Meeting of Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar, on the Eleventh day of June, One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-eight, at thres of the clock in the afternoon precisely at the said Court.
Frederick Sowley Huffam, Esquire, is the Official Assignee, and Mr. Francis Inues Haze- land is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.
At this Meeting the said Registrar will receive the proofs of the Debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.
All persons having in their possession any of the Effects of the said Bankrupt must deliver them to the said Official Assignee, and all Debts due to the Bankrupt must be paid to the said Official Assignee, and give notice thereof to the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

and no irregularities have ever occurred and that after the shops were burnt down by the late fire on the 11th Moon last year, Yü Fei Mau and Tam Pun, partners of the same firms, were desirous of looking for some other business, they conse- quently gave up their former business and sold their shares to the other members of the firms, they have received back the capital money and interest of their shares and a note of transfer of business had been written out to the other owners, so that hereafter if the business of the said shops either profit or lose, they will have nothing to do with the said Yi Fei Mau and Tam Pun.
Published by the Owners of the Kum Cheung Tai and Lai Lung shops.
