HEREAS an Action has been commenced
Win this Honorable Court at the suit of the
above named John Heard, Angustine Heard, Junior, Albert Farley Heard, George Farley Heard, George Frederick Weller, and Robert Inglis Fearon, against the above named Robert L. Taylor, Henry W. Hubbell, F. B. Hildreth, and Russell Sturgis, to recover the sum of Eight thousand Five hundred and Sixty-eight Dol- lars and Three Cents, for money received by the said Robert L. Taylor, Henry W. Hubbell, F. B. Hildreth, and Russell Sturgis for the use of the said Plaintiffs John Heard, Augustine Heard, Junior, Albert Farley Heard, George Farley Heard, George Frederick Weller, and Robert Inglis Fearon, and for money found to be due to the said Plaintiffs by the said Defen- dants on an account stated between them and it being alleged that the said Robert L. Taylor, Henry W. Hubbell, F. B. Hildreth, and Russell Sturgis do not reside within this Island or its Dependencies, a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued, returnable on the Tenth day of Murch next, wherein J. S. Watson, of Victoría, in the Island of Hongkong, Master Mariner, is Garnishee.
Notice is hereby given, that if at any time before final judgment in this Action the said Robert L. Taylor, Henry W. Hubbell, F. B. Hildreth, and Russell Sturgis, or any persons on their behalf, will give the security and notice, and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, intituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.

WHEREAS an Action has been commenced
in this Honorable Court at the suit of the above-named Jolin Heard, Augustine Hear!, Junior, Albert Farley Heard, George Farley Heard, George Frederick Weller, and Robert Inglish Fearon against the above-named Heury W. Hubbell to recover the sum of Five thousand Three hundred and Sixteen Dollars and Eighty-five Cents, for money received by the said Henry W. Hubbell for the use of the said Plaintiffs John Heard, Augustine Heard, Junior, Albert Farley Heard, George Farley Heard, George Frederick Weller, and Robert Inglish Fearon, and for money found to be due to the said Plaintiffs by the said Defendant on an ac- count stated between them; and it being alleged that the said Henry W. IN THE SUPREME COURT OF HONGKONG IN BANKRUPTCY, OTICE. SHERIEF CURIM, trading in
Hongkong and Bombay as Merchant, un- der the style or firm of Sheriff and Company, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Su- preme Court on the Twelfth day of February, 1868, is hereby required to surrender himself to the Honorable William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Registrar of the said Supreme Court, at the first Meeting of Creditors, to be held be- fore he said Registrar on the Twenty-seventh day of February, 1868, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon precisely, at the said Court.
Frederick Sowley Huffam, Esquire, is the Official Assignee, and Mr. Francis Innes Haze- land is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.
At the Meeting the Registrar will receive the proofs of the Debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.
All persons having in their possession any of the Effects of the said Bankrupts must deliver them to the said Official Assignee, and all Debts due to the Bankrupt must be paid to the said Official Assignee.

and all other Persons, to produce any Wills or Codiofls of the above named party, de- ceased, that may be in their possession, before the Court of Probate, on Saturday, the 22nd day of February, A.D. 1868; or, if none, that the next of Kin do accept, or refuse Letters of Administration, failing which Letters of Admi- nistration will be granted to the Registrar of the said Court, or such other person as the Court may think fit.

Firms who at the date thereof were respectively Creditors of the Debtors or either of them thereinafter desig- nated the Creditoms" of the third part Rogistered in the Court of Bankruptcy pursuant to the Bank- ruptcy Act 1861 the Twenty-eighth day of July 1865 whereby the said Debtors assigned all their joint and separate estates and effects as well in Great Britain and China as elsewhere to the Inspectors for the benefit of their Creditors.
OTICE is hereby given that such of the Creditors of the said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen either jointly or separately as have not yet sent in and proved their debts claims or demands to the satisfaction of the said Ins- pectors and have not yet executed or assented in writing to the said Deed of Arrangement (which now lies at the Offices of us the undersigned Messrs. Flux Argles and Rawlins No. 1 East India Avenue Leadenhall Street in the City of London Solicitors) are hereby required to do so on or before the Tenth day of March One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-eight other- wise they will be excluded from all benefit thereof AND NOTICE is hereby further given that after the said Tenth day of March One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-Eight the said Ins- pectors will proceed to distribute the assets which have come to their hands under the said Deed of Arrangement arising from the said joint and separate estates of the said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen among the Creditors entitled thereto having regard only to the debts claims or demands for which the said Deed shall then be executed or assented to and the particulars of whose debts claims or demands shall have been forwarded to the said Inspectors and proved to their satisfaction and duly allowed by them.
And the Inspectors will not be liable for the assets or any part thereof so distributed to any person or persons of whose debt claim or demand they shall not then have had notice or of which no particulars shall have been furnished or which having been disputed by the said Inspectors shall not have been duly verified by Affidavit or Declaration in accordance with the provisions of the Bankruptcy Act 1861 for proof of debts and allowed as claims against the said Estates of the said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen.
