IN THE SUPREME COURT OF HONGKONG IN BANKRUPTCY.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Meeting of tek
Creditors of George, Lyall, Charles Frederick Still, and George Francis Maclean, Bankrupts, will be held, pursuant to the 151st Section of the Bankruptcy Ordinance 1864, in the Supreme Court, on Tuesday the 11th day of February, 1868, at 9 o'clock in the afternoon, before William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, Registrar of the Supreme Court, being the Officer appointed by the Supreme Court sitting in Bankruptcy.
At the said Meeting the Official Assignee will in pursuance of the 151st Section of the said Ordinance submit a Statement of the Separate Estate of the said George Francis Maclean, re- ccvered and outstanding, and of all receipts and all payments made or to be made thereout, and the Creditors at the said Meeting will, in pursu- ance of the said Section, declare whether any and what part of the nett produce of the Separate Estate of the said George Francis Maclean, after making a reasonable deduction for future contin- gencies, shall be divided amongst the Creditors. Proofs of Debts will be received, and Creditors who have not proved, or who shall not then prove, will be excluded from the benefit of the dividend, ---and all claims not proved will be disallowed.

N.B.-The above Meeting has become neces- sary by reason of a failure by the Creditors to come to any resolution at a Meeting convened for the 15th of January last by due notice which appeared in the Hongkong Government Gazette of the 4th of the same month.
THE BANKRUPTCY ACT 1861.
A. ELLISSEN & Co. In the Matter of a Deed of Arrange- ment dated the 30th day of June 1865, made between Adolf Fllissen of No. 4 Cullum Street in the City of London Merchant and of Coven- try in the County of Warwick Col- ton Spinner and Gustav Ellissen then residing at No. 28 Maida Hill West in the County of Middlesex but late of Hongkong in China Mer- chant the said Adolf Ellissen carry- ing on business in London as a
Merchant alone under the Style or Firm of "A. Elissen & Co." and at Coventry aforesaid as a Cotton Spin- ner alone in his own name and the said Adolf Elfasen and Gustav Ellis- sen carrying on business in Co-part- nership at Hongkong and Shanghai in China under the name style or firm of "A. Ellissen & Co." and which said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen were thereinafter designated as the Debtors of the first part Roger Swire Tomlin of No. 1 Bauk Build- ings in the City of London Gentle- man William Burrows of Great St. Helen's in the same City Merchant and William Moales of 19 King's Arms Yard Moorgate Street in the City of London Accountant therein- after designated "The Inspectors of the second part and The several Per- sons Companies and Co-partnership Firms who at the date thereof were respectively Creditors of the Debtors or either of them thereinafter desig- nated the Creditors" of the third part Registered in the Court of Bankruptcy pursuant to the Bank- ruptey Act 1861 the Twenty-eighth day of July 1865 whereby the said Debtors assigned all their joint and separate estates and effects as well in Great Britain and China as elsewhere to the Inspectors for the benefit of their Creditors.
NOTICE is hereby given that such of the
Creditors of the said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen either jointly or separately as have not yet sent in and proved their debts claims or demands to the satisfaction of the said Ins- pectors and have not yet executed or assented in writing to the said Deed of Arrangement (which now lies at the Offices of us the undersigned Messrs. Flux Arghts and Rawlins No. 1 East India Avenue Leadenhall Street in the City of London Solicitors, are hereby required to do so on or before the Tenth day of March Ong thousand Eigh: hundred and Sixty-eight other- wise they will be excluded from all benefit thereof AND NOTICE is hereby further given that after the said Tenth day of March One thousand

Eight hundred and Sixty-Eight the said Jus- pectors will proceed to distribute the assets which have come to their hands under the said Deed of Arrangement arising from the said joint and separate estates of the said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen among the Creditors entitled thereto having regard only to the debts claims or demands for which the said Deed shall then be executed or assented to and the particulars of whose debts claims or demands shall have been forwarded to the said Inspectors and proved to their satisfaction and duly allowed by them.
And the Inspectors will not be liable for the assets or any part thereof so distributed to any person or persons of whose debt claim or demand they shall not then have had notice or of which no particulars shall have been furnished or which having been disputed by the said Inspectors shall not have been duly verified by Affidavit or Declaration in accordance with the provisions of the Bankruptcy Act 1861 for proof of debts and allowed as claims against the said Estates of the said Adolf Ellissen and Gustav Ellissen.
