An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, to empower the. Colonial Treasurer to recover in the Court of Summary Jurisdiction Crown Debts under Five hundred Dollars for Rent and for certain Assessments and Fees.

"HEREAS it is desirable to make Provision for the more Preamble.

speedy Recovery of Crown Debts under Five hundred Dollars for Rent and for Assessments and Fees payable under the Ordinances hereinafter mentioned: Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

I. Sections IV and IX of "The Police and Lighting Rate Repealing Amendment Ordinance, 1867" are hereby repealed.
