Ladd does not reside within this Island or its dependencies, a writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued, returnable on the Twenty-fifth day of May instant, wherein Thomas Cushing Ladd is Garnishee.
Notice is hereby given thereof, and that if at any time before final judgment in this Action, the said John H. Ladd or any person on his behalf, will give the security and notice, and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordi- nance of this Island, intituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in Actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.
