NOTICE is hereby given to the next of kin, and all other persons, to produce any Wil or Codic of the above named party, deceased, that may be in their possession, before the Supreme Court in its Probate Jurisdiction, on Wednesday, the Fourteenth day of December, A.D. 1870; or,

in the Hongkong Government Gazette. examination, of which sitting notice will be given

At the first Meeting of Creditors, the Registrar will receive the proofs of the Debts of Creditors, signees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or As-

At the public Sitting, proofs of the debts of Cre- ditors will be received and the Bankrupt will be required to submit himself to be examined, and to make a full disclosure and discovery of all his Estate and Effects, and to finish his examination.

Notice is also hereby given to all persons in- debted to the said Bankrupt or that have any of his Effects, not to deliver the same but to the Official Assignee.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF HONGKONG IN BANKRUPTCY.

NOTICE EDWARD WILSON BLACKWOOD,

of Victoria, iņ the Colony of Hongkong, Inn-Keeper, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong in Bankruptcy, on the Fifth day of December, 1870, is hereby required to surrender himself to William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Re- gistrar of the said Court, at the first Meeting, of his Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar on the Twenty-seventh day of December instant, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon precisely, at the said Court.

William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, is the Official Assigner.

A Public Meeting will be appointed by the said Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his final

in this Court at the suit of the above named Mah-ah-Tho, against the above named Cassuin Nathoo, to recover the sum of One thou- sand Two hundred Dollars, being the amount of the Draft or Cheque drawn by the said De- fendant in favor of the Plaintiff on his the De- fendant's Compradore, but which was dishonored, which said Draft or Cheque was given by the said Defendant to the Plaintiff' for goods sold and delivered by the Plaintiff to the Defendant; and also for money due on accounts stated, and it being alleged that the said Cassum Nathoo does not reside within this Island or its dependencies, a writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Fourth day of January next, wherein the National Bank of India, Limited, and James Chalmers are Garnishees.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this Action, the said Cassum Nathoo or any person on his behalfwill give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, entitled, " An Ordinance to provide for and regn- late process in Actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.

in this Court at the suit of the above named Qook-yu-chuen, against the above named Cassura Nathoo, to recover the sum of Nine thousand One hundred and Forty-eight Dollars and Seventy- fice Cents, for goods sold and delivered by the Plaintiff to the Defendant; and also for mouey due on accounts stated between the said parties; and it being alleged that the said Cassum Nathoo does not reside within this Island or its depen- dencies, a writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Fourth day of January, next, wherein the National Bank of India Limited and James Chalmers, are Garnisheeɛ.

Notice is hereby given thereof, and that if at any time before final judgement in this Action, the said Cassum Nathoo or any person on his behalf, will give the security and notice, and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, entitled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate Process in Actions at Law against Persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.
