The Undersigned begs to call the attention of the Community to the requirements of Section MIXX of The Victoria Registration Ordinance 1866, which are as follows:--
"Every Person who shall engage himself, after the Commencement of this Ordinance, as a "Servant, shall within Seven Days thereafter report the same at the Registrar General's Office "and produce his Certificate of Registration for the purpose of having the Name of his Employer "endorsed thereon and recorded in the said Office."
Employers, when engaging Servants, are requested to send them to this Office that the proper endorsements may be made on the Certificates, and that a record of the change of employment may
made in the Registers.
On the Certificate, the Column shewing the date of expiration of service should alone be filled a by the Employer.

POST OFFICE NOTIFICATION.
It is hereby notified for general information that henceforward Money Orders drawn in the United Kingdom upon Hongkong, Shanghae and Yokohama, will be paid at the rate of Exchange of the day of the receipt of the advices of such Orders at the places named, instead of, as hitherto, at the rate of Exchange at which Money Orders are being issued at the time of their presentation.

It is hereby notified for general information, that the Postage on Letters addressed to Norway, may either when forwarded viû Southampton, will henceforward be 36 cents for each half ounce, which be paid in advance, or it may be left to be collected on delivery of the Letters. Unpaid Letters will be subject to an additional charge on delivery.
