The following Translation of a Notice, received from Her Majesty's Consul at Manila, is published for the information of Mariners and others whom it may concern.

TRANSLATION.
PUBLIC WORKS. DISTRICT OF MANILA.
Corps of Engineers of Roads, Canals, Ports, and Light-houses.
The requisite Works being about to commence for installing a Catadioptric Apparatus of the 6th order in the Light-house situated on the butt of the North Mole of the river "Pasig," Mariners are warned that the said Light will be extinguished from the 11th instant, until the termination of the Works.

A small Steamer without name found derelict at Sea in Latitude 18° 6' North and Longitude 113° 50′ East, has been towed into the Port of Manila by the Master of the British barque Petunia. The description of the said Steamer is as follows:-
