NOTICE CARL WILHELM RIPKE, of Vic-
toria, Hongkong, Broker, and theretofore of the same place Mercantile Assistant, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudi- cation of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong in Baukruptcy, on the Twenty- ninth day of April, One thousand Eight hun- dred and Seventy, is hereby required to sur- render himself to William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Registrar of this Court, at the first meeting of his Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar, on Thursday, the Twelfth day of May next, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoou precisely, at the said Court.
The said William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, is the Official Assignce, and Mr. F. I. Hazeland is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptey.
A Public Sitting will be appointed by the said Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his final examination, of which sitting notice will be given in the Hongkong Government Gazette.
At the first Meeting of Creditors, the Registrar will receive the proofs of the Debts of Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or As- signees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.
All persons who have possession of any of the Effects of the said Bankrupt, must deliver the same to the Official Assignee, and all Debts due to the said Bankrupt, must be paid to the said Official Assignee.
