OTICE PESTONJEE ASPUNDIARJEE

METTA, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, trader, lately carrying on business at Macao in the Empire of China and at Victoria aforesaid, under the style or firm name of “P. A. Metta," having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filel in the Supreme Court of Hongkong, in Bank- ruptcy, on the Twenty-eighth day of January, A.D. 1871, is hereby required to surrender hin- self to William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Pegistrar of the said Court, at the first Meeting of his Creditors, to be held before the said Re- gistrar on the Second day of Murch, A.D. 1871, at Eleven o'clock in the forcucon of that day precisely, at the said Court.

William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, is the Official Assignee, and Mr. John J. Francis is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

A public sitting will hereafter be appointed by the said Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his final examination, of which sitting notice will be given in the Hongkong Government Gazette.

At the first Meeting of Creditors, the Registrar will receive the proofs of the Debts of Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignce or Assignees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.

At the public sitting, proofs of the Debts of Creditors will be received and the Bankrupt will be required to submit himself to be examined, and to make a full disclosure and discovery of all his Estate and Effects, and to finish his examiua- tion.

Notice is also hereby given to all persons Indebted to the said Bankrupt or that have any of his Effects, not to deliver the same, but to the Official Assignee.
