in this Colony, at the suit of the above named Burjorjee Cowasjee, against the above named Somjeebhoy Visram, to recover the sum of One thousand and Ten Dollars, and Twenty- three cents, money due from the Defendant to the Plaintiff on a Promissory Note made or Bill drawn by the Defendant in favor of the Plaintiff and for Freight on certain goods carried by the Plaintiff at the request of the Defendant and for work done and services rendered by the Plaintiff to the Defendant at his request, and it being alleged that the said Somjeebhoy Visram does not reside within this Island or its dependencies, a writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Eighth day of February, One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy-one, wherein Jan Mahomed Somjee, of Hongkong, Merchant, Sorabjce Rustomjee, of Hongkong,
January 14th 1871.
