HEREAS an Action has been commenced
in this Court, at the suit of the above named William Dolan, against the above named William Henry Shannon to recover Four thou- sand Six hundred and Seventy-five Dollars or thereabouts, and it being alleged that the said William Henry Shannon does not reside within this Island or its Dependencies, a Writ af Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Sixth day of November, One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy-two, wherein John Mar- tin Armstrong and Francis Waldemar G. von Stockhausen are Garnishees.
Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this Action, the said William Henry Shannon or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordi- nance of this Island, entituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in Actions at Law against Persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment inay be dissolved.
